1. Curbing Deceptive Practices of Certain Invention Promotion Companies

Provisions [1] were added to the US Patent Law to impose disclosure requirements on invention promoters and provide for a cause of action for any customer of an invention promoter who has injured a customer by "any material, false or fraudulent statement or representation, or any omission of material fact."
