Fluent in the Korean Language

W. William Park is a partner in the Chicago Office of the firm. He is a registered patent attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office and is a member of the Illinois and Colorado State Bars. His technical specialty is in the areas of semiconductor memory, LCD display, computer hardware and software, digital and microprocessor electronics, optical and hard drive memory devices, robotics, industrial automation, machine controls, as well as telecommunications. Prior to joining Ladas & Parry, Mr. Park worked as an electrical engineer for major U.S. corporations for over nine years designing electrical/electronic systems and writing software for robotics and various machine control applications. Mr. Park has prepared and prosecuted patent applications in semiconductor memory, LCD display, cellular telecommunications, digital television, computer hard disc drive, Internet web browser, among others. Mr. Park also provides non-infringement opinions or invalidity opinions on existing patents. Mr. Park is a member of AIPLA, ABA, and IPLAC. Mr. Park, born in Korea and immigrated to the U.S. at the age of thirteen, is fluent in Korean and regularly travels to Asia and other continents to meet with the firm's overseas clients.
