Valerie Neymeyer-Tynkov is a registered patent attorney and Of Counsel at Ladas & Parry. She has experience in preparing and prosecuting U.S., international, and foreign patent applications, including managing entire patent portfolios for blockbuster commercial products and defending against third party attacks on pending applications and patents in many jurisdictions. Valerie has six years’ bench experience in commercial biotech and academic laboratories. She developed small and large scale purification processes, manufactured product under cGMP procedures, and performed R&D work including for instance protein purification and characterization, cell culture, HPLC, assays, immunohistochemistry and other techniques. Her academic work is published in part in Brain Research and Life Sciences journal articles. Her graduate and undergraduate coursework demonstrate her interdisciplinary education and understanding of the medical, biotech and chemical fields, including for instance signal transduction, pharmacology, physiology, organic chemistry, molecular biology, calculus/differential equations, toxicology, physical chemistry.
