7. Conclusion Federal and State legislation pertaining to the regulation
of electronic commerce will continue to expand in response to the increasing

of this technology. It is for this reason that both the Federal government
and the States will continue to pass legislation that addresses the
most critical aspects of the burgeoning new economy.
