The following countries have become parties to the Protocol Relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks, with effect from the following dates:

Albania	July 30, 2003
Croatia	January 23, 2004
Cyprus	November 4, 2003
Iran	December 25, 2003
Macedonia	August 30, 2002
Netherlands Antilles	April 28, 2003
Republic of Korea (South Korea)	April 10, 2003
United States	November 2, 2003

The Madrid Agreement also became effective with respect to Iran on December 25, 2003.
