The Geneva Act of the Hague Agreement on International Filing of Design Applications (see our August 1999 Newsletter) came into effect on December 23, 2003 between those countries that had ratified it, namely: Estonia, Georgia, Iceland, Kyrgyz Republic, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland and Ukraine.
