The Iraqi Federation of Industries issued a Directive on April 29, 2001 confirming that it is now possible to register service marks in Iraq in local Classes 35 to 42. Although Iraq is not currently a member of the Nice Agreement, their local classification follows, and is almost identical to, previous editions of the International Classification of Goods and Services.
