Madrid Agreement and Protocol - Membership

Bhutan has become a party to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks, effective August 4, 2000.

The following countries have become parties to the Protocol Relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks, with the following effective dates:

Belarus	January 18, 2002
Bhutan	August 4, 2000
Bulgaria	October 2, 2001
Greece	August 10, 2000
Ireland	October 19, 2001
Mongolia	July 16, 2001
Singapore	October 31, 2000
Ukraine	December 29, 2000
Zambia	November 15, 2001

Effective July 7, 2000, the Madrid Agreement and the Protocol Relating to that Agreement, to which the People's Republic of China is a party, are not applicable to the Macau Special Administrative Region of China.
