Palestinian National Authority - New Labelling Requirements

The Ministry of Economy and Trade has directed that all goods sold in areas governed by the Palestinian National Authority must bear labels in the Arabic language which are clear and legible.

The label must contain a description of the product and the product's name, its trademark, if imported, the importer's name and address, the place of production, the basic ingredients, the expiration date and, if necessary, the method of storage.

Certain goods, such as cigarettes and inflammable materials, must bear a warning issued by the competent authorities.
