The British government has introduced legislation to replace the current collection of laws relating to competition in the United Kingdom (including the Resale Prices Act, Restrictive Trade Practices Act, and the Competition Act) with a new system modeled on Articles 85 and 86 of the Treaty of Rome. It seems likely that the bill will be enacted next year and we will provide fuller details at that time.
