In our July 1997 Newsletter (N.S. 188), we reported that Bahrain had passed the necessary legislation to adhere to the Paris Convention. On July 29, 1997, Bahrain deposited its instrument of accession to the Paris Convention, which entered into effect with respect to that country on October 29, 1997.
