On December 4, 1996, the Government of Poland deposited its instruments of accession to the Nice Agreement Concerning the International Classification of Goods and Services and to the Protocol Relating to the Madrid Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Marks, both of which entered into effect on March 4, 1997, with respect to Poland.
