On September 19, 1996, the Government of the Netherlands deposited its instrument of ratification of the Trademark Law Treaty for the Kingdom in Europe, the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba. However, since the Netherlands is a Member State of the Benelux Trademark Office, the treaty will not enter into force, in the Netherlands, until three months following the date on which the instruments of ratification of both Belgium and Luxembourg have been deposited.
