On March 26, 1997, Equatorial Guinea deposited its instruments of accession to the Paris Convention for the Protection of Industrial Property, and to the Berne Convention for Protection of Literary and Artistic Works, both of which entered into effect, with respect to Equatorial Guinea, on June 26, 1997.
