People's Republic of China - Adheres to Budapest Convention

China has adhered to the Budapest Convention on Deposit of Microorganisms so that it is no longer necessary to ship samples of microorganisms to China for deposit in a Chinese institution if their use is necessary to put an invention into practice. One can now simply file a "Budapest Deposit" with any International Depository Authority.
