In our April 1995 Newsletter, we reported the execution of an agreement between Taiwan and Australia permitting priority claims to be made in Taiwan for intellectual property rights owned by Australians. A similar agreement has now come into effect with Germany but is restricted to the grant of priority rights for patents and utility models only
