Mexico - Hague Legalization Convention
The text of the Hague Convention Abolishing the Requirement of Legalization of Foreign Documents was published in the Mexican Government Official Gazette on August 14, 1995, and is now in effect in Mexico. Therefore, parties from other member countries of the Hague Convention need only have documents, which would otherwise require legalization, authenticated by Apostille under the Convention. All other parties are still required to comply with legalization requirements for documents submitted in Mexican proceedings.
