We reported in our April 1995 Newsletter that applications for patents, trademarks and designs were being accepted.

We have now been advised that the Patent Office is accepting applications to revalidate in Bosnia & Herzegovina those industrial property rights which were previously granted in former Yugoslavia before March 1, 1992. We have received unconfirmed advice that the term within which to revalidate eligible rights will expire on:

April 1, 1996.

Protection in Bosnia & Herzegovina for those industrial property rights that were granted, or pending, in former Yugoslavia after March 1, 1992 can only be obtained through the filing of new applications.
