We have been informed that Andean Pact Decision 344, summarized in our Information Letters N.S. 181 and 182, was published in Bolivia on June 28, 1995. However, we have now been advised that there is some disagreement as to whether the Decision is actually in force and, until the issue is resolved, it appears that local law is still being applied.
