The term within which owners of former USSR and Russian trademark applications and registrations, filed prior to and in effect on June 7, 1993, may revalidate their rights in Azerbaijan has been extended from March 31, 1993 (as reported in our Information Letter N.S. 182) until:
December 31, 1994.
It has been reported that a similar extension has also been granted for filing revalidation patent applications, but we have no official confirmation on this.
